Fishing in lake Mjøsa is truely a hidden gem. The locals have harvested from this great lake for hundreds of years, but sport fishing is still not very common despite the abundance of very large pike and trout. Grayling and whitefish are among the other species that are commonly caught here. There's a fully equipped motor boat for hire on the premises.
There's also a great number of sizable perch in the lake, and these are easy to catch using casting equipment from the marina.
All in all this makes Mjøsa a perfect family destination both for those in love with the wonderful sport of fishing, but also for those who are just looking for a quiet Norwegian retreat close to the nature.
If you're travelling with a caravan, mobile home/ RV or tent, then the RV-park and camping will offer great locations close to the lake. You will also have access to a modern service facility with kitchen, washing machines, showers and toilets. BOOK NOW.
