Glamping of exceptional quality

Enjoy life by the water to the fullest, and go glamping with your nearest and dearest at the unique Panoramacabins in Evjua. You arrive to made-up beds and receive a personal towel. Environment, climate and sustainability are our focus, and the cabins are environmentally friendly insulated with wool from sheep. Inner panel is untreated Thermowood.

Our cabins are tailored to provide a fantastic view of Mjøsa right from the bed, and you can enjoy the panoramic sunset from the spacious patio. Listen to the sound of the waves beneath your feet as you sip on a glass of bubbles on the veranda, or start the day with a peaceful morning in bed surrounded by Mjøsa and beautiful nature. The Panoramahyttene create a memorable atmosphere that facilitates unforgettable moments with those you cherish the most.

Each panorama mini cabin features a double bed and a single bed, as well as a simple kitchen and bathroom. We have two of these cabins right next to each other, making it perfect for a rural getaway by Mjøsa.

A shower can be found in the service building right next door, and is of course included in the price.

Children up to and including 12 years of age stay free with adults, and there is room for 2 small children together with up to 2 adults.

Comfort with a historical buzz

Explore the charm and history behind Kapteinsboligen - a unique destination where the spirit of seafaring from the past meets modern comfort. This timeless home was originally built for Captain Einar Haugland, an experienced sailor with extensive experience on the seven seas. He lived here while serving as the captain of the world's oldest steam-powered paddle steamer in regular operation, D/S Skibladner, from 1947 to 1969. You can still experience Skibladner as she docks at Evjua twice a week during the summer season.

The house has today been renovated in a great maritime style, while at the same time it has been upgraded with all modern facilities. On the first floor there are two large living rooms - a living room with sofas and TV, as well as a dining room with space for approx. 10 people. The fully equipped kitchen is conveniently located right next to the dining room. Both the dining room and living room have beautiful wood-burning stoves, as well as an efficient heat pump for an even temperature around the clock.

On the second floor there are 4 large bedrooms, with a total of 9 comfortable beds. This floor also contains a large bathroom with shower, 2 wash basins, washing machine and tumble dryer. You have free access to wireless Internet throughout the house.
