Food in idyllic surroundings
You'll find the restaurant Viken II in Evjua Strandpark, right in the beautiful Totenvika on Toten, along Fv.33 between Minnesund and Gjøvik. The restaurant is built like an old Mjøsa boat, majestically positioned at the pier with spectacular views of Helgøya, Hamar, and Stange.
The restaurant has PLENTY OF SPACE, and we can serve food outdoors. From the "galley," we serve summery lunches and dinners with fresh, locally sourced ingredients from the agricultural district of Toten. We're very fortunate to have a restaurant in Toten, right in the heart of the food bowl! Full bar service available.
Local ingredients
The vegetable-growing area of Totenvika is located in one of Norway’s most fertile agricultural regions, and is especially known for its lush fields right along the shores of Lake Mjøsa. Here, everything from grain and potatoes to cabbage, onions, carrots, and lettuce is cultivated – ingredients that make their way to dinner tables across the country.
We use local ingredients in our dishes whenever possible – when they are in season.
